GENERAL INFORMATION:

Class Name: Nature Explorers

Day and Time: 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 11am

Format: Gather on blankets at Base Camp, eat snack or lunch while we introduce topic (via book/poem), then go exploring, and wrap up with craft or show and tell.

General Supplies: blanket, lunch or snacks, water, bug spray, sunscreen, magnifying glass, identification books or apps, anything else that encourages your kid to explore nature, and be sure to wear clothing that can get messy!

Note About Base Camp: Always check comment section after arrival - we will use that area to communicate any location changes or helpful information.

Pond Study with Water Scopes 

About the Park: This park is tucked away into a small square of Tomball, so the trick will be finding it! There are eight parking spaces, with one reserved for handicapped individuals. There is more parking at Walmart across the street (see image below). The park is nicely shaded, with bathrooms and nature center. Easy access for strollers and wagons. We will be exploring banks and water, so the majority of exploration will be wet and muddy.
