Nature Adventures at Kleb Woods Nature Preserve and Center

The program will include a tour of the historic Kleb farm house with information about the history of the park, and the Kleb family. There will also be a nature walk where participants can learn about plants, birds, and insects in our area. Finally, there will be a tour of the nature center including the Young Naturalist Room that has feathers, bones, games, a turtle, fish, and a snake. You will also get to meet one of thier parrots and learn more about her.

DISCLAIMER:

Please know that Nature Adventures is open for all to attend but keep in mind that these activities are recommended for ages 7 & up. Children younger than 7 years are welcome at parent's discretion. Some activities/hikes are longer and younger children find it a little more difficult/challenging to keep up.

Adventure Club Disclaimer:

~Parents/Guardians are responsible for their own child/children at all times during all events/meetings.

~Parents/Guardians must insure that all members of their family/party know the group rules.

Adventure Club Rules:

1. All individuals, adults and children, must stay with the group at all times.

2. If you need to leave, please inform one of the volunteers.

3. During all events make sure that your child is within your view, younger children must be a sprint reach away.

4. No child should lead/leave the group without an adult; likewise, no child should be left behind without an adult.

Safety is #1: Look at the families around you, as a group we can help keep children and others in the group. We ask to discourage wandering off.
