The Lone Star Flight Museum is an aviation museum and STEM learning center with a mission to preserve, educate and inspire. Led by CEO, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Douglas H. Owens, LSFM’s new $38 million state of the art facility at Houston’s Ellington Airport opened September 16, 2017. In addition to the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame, the 130,000 square foot facility houses the Museum’s renowned flying collection of historic aircraft, a $1 million, high-tech Aviation Learning Center and dynamic hands-on exhibits.

We have reserved a tour of the facility!

Children will be broken up into groups by age and then led on an educational tour of the museum. If you have smaller siblings they're obviously welcomed to stay with the parent during the tour.

There are lots of hands on learning exhibits as well as a scavenger hunt!

Cost is $7.95 per person; child or adult. Children 3 and under are free.

* We will need an initial headcount and RSVP by next Thursday March 4th with payment due by April 18th. *

Please pay via Zelle or PayPal to payments@thehomeschoolcouncil.org

The tour should last about 2 - 2 1/2 hours.

While the museum doesn't provide lunch, they can provide a space for our group to eat lunch together at the end of the tour. So feel free to pack a lunch.

All visitors will have their temperature checked, no exceptions. All visitors over the age of 10 will be required to wear a face mask. Periodic cleaning/sanitizing of the museum will take place daily.
