Thank you for being part of the hunger free family! By volunteering with Kids’ Meals, you and your group will help feed thousands of hungry children in our city. Below is an event link, this link will make it simple and easy for anyone in your group to register to participate. If you do not have an account on that website, you will need to create one inorder to sign up.  They have a determined number of spots available, the event will close when they reach the maximum number of volunteers they need for that day.

Our goal is to make things as smooth as possible for you. We ask that each volunteer to wear comfortable clothing, closed toed-shoes, and a hat. If you would prefer to wear a hair net rather than a hat, we have them to pass out. Once in the welcome room, we will have each person sign in and do a brief orientation.Once we are ready to get to work, we will supply everyone with hand sanitizer and gloves. We do ask that come ready to have a good time. At Kids’ Meals, we think volunteering should be fun!

Volunteers during the afternoon shift work from 12:30pm-2:30pm. While here, volunteers will be assigned to roles either in our kitchen or in our packing rooms. Volunteers in the kitchen will work to make sandwiches and prepare snacks, and volunteers in the packing rooms will pack the meal items into bags to be delivered. Children under 8 may NOT volunteer, and anyone under the age of 18 must have someone 18 years or older to accompany them.
