Christmas delivery at Cypress Creek Senior center
We will deliver handmade card and a bag with chocolates for each resident. (100 total).

We received a call from the Cypress Creek Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center manager. We've been asked to donate decorated bags with bite-size chocolates, plain chocolate, or soft candy and a card with each bag. I suggest the kids make the Christmas cards for the residents. The Seniors love it when the children make the pictures on the cards.
We will deliver the decorated bags and will be able to sing some Christmas songs: Jingle Bells, Santa Clauss is coming to Town, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer, Walking in the Winter Wonderland, and We Wish you a Merry Christmas. (Kids can read the lyrics to sing along).
If you can not come to the center but would like to donate chocolate or sugar-free candy for the bags or the bags already made, please get in touch with me to make arrangements to give your donation. 346-213-2066. Also, I will be attending the following activities if you want to drop the bags:
Tuesday: The zoo at 10:30 am and the Christmas play practice at Radack at 2:00 pm.
Wednesday: The Christmas play practice at Radack at 2:00 pm.
Thursday: Park day at 1:30 at Matzke Park.
Please note: to go inside the Senior Center on Friday, we will need to wear a mask ONLY from the entrance as we walk through the hall, but we will be able to take the mask off once we get to the common area where we will be singing.
On the RSVP we have two options:
1. Will attend the center and bring goodie bags
2. I can't attend but will donate goodie bags.
I also have an option for you to specify how many bags you are donating.
Even though this is a last-minute event, it will be fun and excellent service for the residents.
If you are attending the Nutcracker and/or the Teen's Winter Dance, please consider that this event at the Senior Center will take place 90 minutes after the Nutcracker and about 2:30 hours before the Dance.
