Attendees MUST wear closed toe shoes, long pants, and shirts with short or long sleeves.
There are 40 tickets, including parents.
Expected behavior: since this is a training facility, running and wondering off IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE:
* Go to the Brayton Fire Training Field building, parents need to show their ID and ask for a visitor's pass.
* Lizbeth, Patricia and Jennifer will be waiting for everyone by the desk.
* Edward will guide you to the trainign area.
The Brayton Fire Training Field is arealistic, large-scale, and hands-on. This 297-acre facility attracts more than 45,000 emergency responders from all 50 states and more than 45 countries each year.
The facility offers emergency responders instruction in firefighting, rescue, emergency medical services, hazardous materials, marine, aircraft, and emergency management.
Exxonmobil among other oil and gas companies firefighters will be training on fires related to refineries and petrochemical plants.
There will be a small presentation given by one our CHC members who works for Exxon and invited us to this event: Edward Ramirez, (Eddie's dad). Then the kids can watch the training.
If it rains, the event will be canceled.
