Book club K - 2nd: “The Good Egg”

The good egg literally begins to crack from all of the self-imposed pressure. Deciding that it is in his best interest to leave the carton, the good egg embarks on a journey of self-care, and self-reflection. On his journey, the good egg finds peace by taking walks, reading, writing in his journal, and just breathing. By taking some time for itself, it realizes it doesn't have to be perfect. The themes of the book include: – Accept yourself and others for who they are. – A balanced life is more important than trying to be perfect.

We'll read and  have a craft/creative writing activity to do along with it. There will be a craft to go along with the book that is about self care/positive affirmations.

Since the forecast for Monday in the Zube Park area shows a 93% probability of rain, we have moved the location for Book club to the Lone Star College Library located at 9191 Barker Cypress Rd, Cypress, TX 77433.
