About the Event

Coordinators:  Nancy García and Sandy Beatty

Ages: 7+ (younger siblings are welcome at parents discretion)

For general questions about Nature Adventures  please comment on this post: https://www.thehomeschoolcouncil.org/forum/nature-adventurers

We will be doing a guided bird walk where we look for the different species of birds that can be found around the park. The fall season  brings the possibility to see raptors, waterbirds, blackbirds, sparrows, and other songbirds, so hopefully we can find something for everyone to look at and learn about.

Participants will want to wear suitable clothing for the weather (it can get quite windy) and for walking on both paved and dirt paths. Hats, sunscreen, and water are also strongly recommended. Anyone who has binoculars (or can borrow some) will want to bring those as well.

Join us for lunch at the park afterward.

Please purchase 1 ticket per person attending.

Please register by October 29th as registration will close.
