Educational Tour: Recommended for Kinder-6th Graders
Educational Tours are a great way to put a spin on learning. These tours offer an in-depth look at Minute Maid Park and its rich baseball history as well as an educational overview of the work behind building the tools of the game. Guests of this tour will visit the Bank of America Suite Level, Honda Club Level, Press Box, Astros Dugout, and will watch educational videos on how bats and balls are made.
For educational materials you can utilize to tie-in visit to Minute Maid Park, National Baseball Hall of Fame offers an educational program which provides lesson plans aligned with various subjects. To view these lesson plans, click here.
.Cost: $6 per child ages 3-14, $10 for ONE homeschool parent per family, $10 for children/siblings that are outside of the 3-14 age range, $20 for additional parents.
Important infomation: You must be at the gates promptly between 9 and 9:15 am. If you arrive after 9:15 am, you may forfeit your participation in the field trip. Field trip is non-refundable and non-transferrable. You must have a ticket for each person entering Minute Maid ages 0+. You must complete the liability release waiver and send to Mary West no later than 1 week before the trip or you may not be able to participate in the field trip. It is not a game day at Minute Maid. Masks are no longer required at Minute Maid Park. No strollers are permitted on the tour and no outside food is allowed. Guests should dress in comfortable walking shoes/attire that is appropriate for the weather as the tour is not limited to indoors. After the field trip, bring a picnic lunch to Discovery Green and meet us for park fun.

All guests will meet the tour guide at 9:15am at Union Station Lobby located at 501 Crawford Street (off the corner of Crawford Street and Texas Avenue). Once all guests of the tour have arrived and checked in with the tour guide, they will enter the ballpark for the tour. Guests must be prompt!
Late arriving guests must check in with the Tours Ambassador in Union Station and their name be listed on the Guest List. Reservations for the Educational Tour are non-refundable.
